Ongoing projects
It is always good to have a few open projects. Either your own ideas or to emulate other photographers work. Not to copy, but to add your own creative style.

I love great buildings especially if they are part of a bigger scheme. Diversity is the key.

Badalona, gentrification?
8
As I lived in Badalona for a few years I would take walks into the different parts of the city to see how it was changing. Badalona has some poor neighbourhoods, some beautiful original buildings, and a lot of redevelopment. Some buildings are modern beauties but are not appreciated as such, it will be a shame to see them go. Along the waterfront it's becoming the usual overdevelopment of holiday homes.

Exploring Spain
Spain is a great country to explore. Sometimes a trip to see something particular, other times a road or rail trip.

Whilst I'm not really a street photographer, I cannot ignore a good photo when I see one.

City of Shadows - Alexey Titarenko
1
City of Shadows was a project by Alexey Titarenko in the early 90's. He used long exposures to photograph the change in people when the Soviet Union collapsed. Whilst long exposures were a common theme, especially with photography students, he managed to capture the despair growing at the time. My recent attempt to recreate couldn't capture the mood or the environment of his work, but still worth a try.
